Putting people at ease
Elaine has always been interested in working closely with people and this is reflected in her careers in nursing, education, counselling and now hypnotherapy. She has the unique ability to put people at their ease and listen to their story. Elaine believes passionately in the usefulness of hypnosis as a therapeutic tool and has helped hundreds of people overcome their problems and go on to lead happier and more fulfilling lives.

Qualifications
Elaine has an Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy, a Certificate in Counselling, a Practitioner Certificate in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) as well as a Masters Degree in Linguistics. She helps people with a whole range of emotional problems such as phobias, panic attacks, sexual problems and anxieties using hypnoanalysis, as well as helping people to develop new skills and overcome fears using positive suggestions and hypnosis.

A perfect example of suggestion therapy is the work she does with hypnotherapy for childbirth - the focus of which is to empower the mother with skills of relaxation, pain control and confidence.

Elaine is also a trainer and runs workshops in Interpersonal Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Building Self-Esteem and Stress Management and has worked with a wide number of businesses, schools and higher education institutions as well as the NHS Direct.

Elaine is a fully qualified member of the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts which was established in 1981, and is the largest hypnotherapy organisation dedicated to hypnoanalysis and the ethical use of hypnosis for health. Members of the Association are bound by a Code of Practice and Ethics and are required to have undergone their own training anaysis, attend regular supervision and professional development and have Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance.

Training Analyst
Within the IAPH, Elaine is a Training Analyst helping student therapists through their training period before becoming fully qualified hypnotherapists and is a qualified supervisor. Elaine helps to organise the regional meetings for other IAPH therapists in East Anglia.
