Steve has been a successful full time hypnotherapist for

the last seven years. He qualified as an NLP practitioner in 1997 and then ventured on to become a practicing hypnoanalyst with the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts at which point he set up the West Cambridge hypnotherapy practice which continues operating successfully today.
Training Analyst
In 2003 he graduated on as a Training analyst helping student therapists through their training period before becoming fully qualified hypnotherapists. Steve’s knowledge and experience acquired as a “Hypnoanalysist” is well respected when it comes to helping people resolve emotional problems, including anxieties, phobias, panic attacks, and sexual issues, see Analytical therapy.
Helping people to quit smoking using hypnosis
During his time as a hypnotherapist Steve has established a considerable reputation and expertise when it comes to helping people quit smoking permanently in only one easy session of therapy with a success rate of over 95% see smoking therapy.
Further training
Steve continues his training and studies in all aspect of hypnotherapy whenever he can; he helps organize regional meetings for other IAPH therapists in East Anglia and keeps up to date with any ongoing developments within his organization. He is a member of the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts and is bound by a code of practice and ethics, and is covered by professional malpractice insurance. Putting people at ease
Elaine has always been interested in working closely with people and this is reflected in her

careers in nursing, education, counselling and now hypnotherapy. She has the unique ability to put people at their ease and listen to their story. Elaine believes passionately in the usefulness of hypnosis as a therapeutic tool and has helped hundreds of people overcome their problems and go on to lead happier and more fulfilling lives.
Qualifications
Elaine has an Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy, a Certificate in Counselling, a Practitioner Certificate in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) as well as a Masters Degree in Linguistics. She helps people with a whole range of emotional problems such as phobias, panic attacks, sexual problems and anxieties using hypnoanalysis, as well as helping people to develop new skills and overcome fears using positive suggestions and hypnosis.
Hypnosis for child birth
A perfect example of suggestion therapy is the work she does with hypnotherapy for childbirth - the focus of which is to empower the mother with skills of relaxation, pain control and confidence.

Elaine is also a trainer and runs workshops in Interpersonal Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Building Self-Esteem and Stress Management and has worked with a wide number of businesses, schools and higher education institutions as well as the NHS Direct.
Elaine is a fully qualified member of the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts which was established in 1981, and is the largest hypnotherapy organisation dedicated to hypnoanalysis and the ethical use of hypnosis for health. Members of the Association are bound by a Code of Practice and Ethics and are required to have undergone their own training anaysis, attend regular supervision and professional development and have Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance.
Training Analyst
Within the IAPH, Elaine is a Training Analyst helping student therapists through their training period before becoming fully qualified hypnotherapists and is a qualified supervisor. Along with Steve, she helps to organise the regional meetings for other IAPH therapists in East Anglia.
